During a June 23 Board of Supervisors work session, Stafford planning staff reported 16 data center projects in the county pipeline: five approved, including three under construction, and 11 still under review.
Potomac Local reported that no new applications had been received since September 2025, after the county adopted stricter ordinance and Comprehensive Plan provisions. Each pending application retains its own review status and should not be treated as approved.
