The Stafford County Board of Supervisors deferred consideration of the proposed Potomac Creek Development after concerns were raised about a historic cemetery and possible unmarked graves on the site.
WTOP reported that the developer would hire an archaeological consultant to investigate and survey the property. Deferral means the project was not approved at that meeting; the board was expected to revisit the matter after additional review.
