We would like to thank those members of Save Stafford who attended the Stafford County Illegal Immigration Task Force Meeting at the County Administration Center.  There were close to 100 people present and approximately 25 people spoke.  Based on the views they expressed and the following applause, we estimate that our side enjoyed a 10-1 advantage in sentiment.

Since the illegal immigrant crisis can only be solved by the federal government, our next step is to meet personally with our Congressman, Robert Wittman.  We intend to ask as many local representatives, to include BOS members Mark Dudenhefer and George Schwartz, and our fellow Save Stafford member, Delegate Mark Cole, to attend this meeting with Congressman Wittman.  We also plan to attend any town halls hosted by Senator Webb and Senator Warner, as it is vitally important that members of the federal government realize that their unwillingness to solve this problem has placed an increasingly imposing and costly burden on local communities and is causing frustration and alienation among many of their constituents
